DK 3882 Tears of A Clown

DK 3882  Tears Of A Clown    Advanced  Level
5” x 9”  on 15” x 20”, cream or white

Includes pattern printed on fabric, photo, instructions

This is not a difficult design, the reason it is rated as “Advanced” is because of a couple of bullions that are over 60 wraps  The remainder of the design is Advanced Intermediate.  Even Clowns have ups and downs.  Who knows if these are tears of joy, or tears of sorrow, or a little bit of both?   If long bullions are difficult for you, this class will help you master them!  Other techniques and stitches: extremely padded satin stitch with a cord-like appearance; up/down cast-ons;  how to add beads to cast-on stitches while the stitch is being done;  the beaded “star” technique on the smaller teardrops; the “Automatic” Palestrina knot and how to change colors/weights without stopping and re-starting the stitch!  This technique can be used for any continuous stitch for an uninterrupted line of stitching.

This is a special order design - allow extra time for delivery
