Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery International Guild, Inc. The Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery International Guild, Inc. was formed in 1991 as a non-profit organization to promote the art of Brazilian embroidery through seminars, newsletters, website, and workshops and has worldwide membership. 

Membership to BDEIG is open to all stitchers, amateur and professional, novice and experienced.  The only criteria for membership are a love of Brazilian embroidery and the desire to learn more about this needle art. 

American Needlepoint Guild, Inc.  American Needlepoint Guild, Inc. The American Needlepoint Guild, Inc. (ANG) is an educational, non-profit organization whose purpose is educational and cultural development through participation in and encouragement of interest in the art of needlepoint. ANG defines needlepoint as any counted or free stitchery worked by hand with a threaded needle on a readily countable ground.

 Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., (EGA), was formed for the express purpose of fostering the art of needlework and associated arts. EGA seeks to promote cooperation and the exchange of ideas among those who are engaged in needlework throughout the world by encouraging a high standard of design and technique in embroidery. EGA provides a center to be used as a bureau of education and information regarding the art of embroidery for all guild members. It is our purpose to conduct instruction and research in the art of needlework and to distribute related materials and publications to members and to the public.

Embroiderer's Association of Canada Embroiderer's Association of Canada  To encourage and promote the practice and knowledge of the art of embroidery in all its forms; To have a fellowship of persons who enjoy needlework and wish to learn and share their knowledge; and thereby to work towards maintaining higher standards of design, color and workmanship.
National Academy of Needlearts The National Academy of Needlearts is an organization devoted to the advancement of embroidery as an art form. Its goal is to uphold the highest standards in the needlearts by providing excellence in education to all those interested in furthering their embroidery skills as teachers, judges, artists, designers, authors, and technically proficient embroiderers.
The Needlework Guild of Minnesota The Needlework Guild of Minnesota is a non-profit educational organization founded to promote high quality in the art of needlework. Membership provides an opportunity for the interchange of ideas among people interested in stitchery. Time and talent are given freely so the result is a group for all levels of learning. Our members enjoy fellowship with enthusiasm that is contagious and works to the benefit of everyone.
Examplary Needle Guild  "The Examplary Needle Guild" is devoted to the study and preservation of samplers and is open to stitchers and non-stitchers alike. Its goal is to educate members and foster an appreciation of sampler needle art. The group meets every other month, and has daytime meetings. Activities include workshops, lectures, guest teachers, displays, stitch-ins, newsletters, chart library and more. Dues are $20 a year, and you also receive their newsletter. Also -  a $15.00 per year Associate membership. Associate members receive the newsletter and can attend four meetings and two events each year."   
Charted Designers Association The Charted Designers Association is a nonprofit organization formed in 1979 to standardize and promote the charted design industry. It is made up of design companies, designers and suppliers specializing in the field of printed needlework charts, kits and patterns.
TNNA The National Needlearts Association TNNA - The National Needlearts Association is an international trade organization representing companies specializing in upscale Needlearts products and supplies.  TNNA's membership is comprised of businesses that create and market hand painted needlepoint canvases, hand-dyed and specialty crochet and knitting yarns, embroidery, needlepoint and cross-stitch, kits, embellishments, furniture, notions, gifts, books, publications, accessories, tools and more.
American Quilters Society These are the people to join to learn everything about anything to do with quilting. Their selection of books is fabulous and you can now order online.
Studio Art Quilts Association An association and a website that makes the fine art of quilt making understandable and accessible.
Computer Textile Design Group The CTDG is an established group of textile-minded computer users, who wish to share their skills, knowledge and enthusiasm with like minded people.  The computer skills of their members range from complete beginners to highly skilled experienced computer users.  Equally the range of computers and software used by their members is quite wide. Members interests include embroidery, surface design, screen and fabric printing, patchwork quilting, knitting, beading, lace-making, needlework, stitching and other textile activities. Although they are UK based they have members worldwide including some of the top textile artists in the UK and overseas.
Quilt Art list A spot worth investigating if you are interested in contemporary and studio art quilts and would like to be part of an extremely active email list.
International Guild of Miniature Artisans, Ltd. The primary goal of The Guild is to promote fine miniatures as an art form, thus removing them from the category of crafts. This goal is achieved in various ways...all of them innovative and exciting!  The Guild is a mixture of miniaturists, both collectors and artisans, who have much in common...an appreciation of fine miniatures. We are an organization which unites them both!
